Privacy Policy

EV Street Co collects property addresses and email addresses. A property address is personal information. This page says plainly what we do with it.

What we collect

When you submit the estimate form, we collect:

• The property address you type in
• Your email address
• Whether you told us you own the property
• Your estimate of the distance from your panel to the curb

When you email or call us, we collect whatever you send us, including your name, phone number, and anything in the body of your message.

When you visit the site, our host records standard server request logs, which include IP addresses. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not use third-party analytics cookies, and there is no cookie banner because there are no non-essential cookies to consent to.

Why we collect it

Your property address is the only way to answer the question you asked us. We use it to look up the parcel, check what utility service the building has, look at the curb and the parking situation, and work out what an install would cost there.

Your email address is how we send you that answer.

We do not use either to build a marketing list, and we do not email you about anything other than your enquiry unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

• The form provider. Estimate submissions pass through a third-party form service, which stores them on our behalf.
• Our email provider, in the ordinary course of replying to you.
• A utility or permitting authority, only if you become a customer and only to the extent a rebate application or permit requires it. We will tell you before we do this.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with data brokers, lead-generation services, or other contractors.

How long we keep it

Estimate submissions that do not become customers are deleted after 24 months. If you ask us to delete yours sooner, we will, and you do not have to give a reason.

Your choices

Email us to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Illinois does not currently have a general consumer privacy statute of the California or Colorado type, so these are commitments we are making, not rights we are restating.

If you are in a jurisdiction that does grant you statutory rights over your personal data, tell us and we will honour them.

Children

This site is for property owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

Submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our form and email providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we are a small company, so we are not going to claim otherwise.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will change the date at the top and, if you are a customer, tell you directly.
